Thank you to everyone for being so patient with the blog while I got adjusted and finally had the internet installed in my new apartment! I have so much to catch up with so I’m going to start with what’s new to purchase on Net-A-Porter. Since I live in the US now, I thought it would be a good idea to show what’s new on the American site rather than the UK site. I’ll still get emails about what’s new in the UK store so if there’s anything not available in the US, I will definitely post about it here.

Rose Cordero, looks insanely good modeling Lanvin’s Pre-Fall collection for Bergdorf Goodman. Bergdorf’s get my vote for having the best online showcase of clothes ever. Their approach is more fashion magazine than catalogue and they really do the job of making the customer want to buy the clothes. These photographs could be an editorial. The red dress in the first image was worn by Sigourney Weaver to this year’s Oscars and now, you can own this beautiful dress yourself!

Net-A-Porter have made me extremely happy this week. Not only did they add those gorgeous cut-out leather Fall 2010 boots today, they’ve also decided to update their ‘What’s New’ section on Fridays, in addition to Mondays and Wednesdays! That means every week, we get an extra dose of goodies to ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’ over. I also happened to notice that Net-A-Porter added Lanvin to their ‘Designers’ drop-down menu on their front page. These beautiful leather gloves were featured in both the Pre-Fall and Fall 2010 Lanvin collections. The first pair may look black, but they’re actually a forest green color and would look stunning with jewel-toned dresses come autumn.
